Chennai: It is a scene straight out of the movies. The hero runs away with his sweetheart and marries in a temple because the parents don’t consent to their marriage. This is what happened to Vimal and his sweetheart-wife Akshaya.
The couple tied the knot at the Swamimalai Temple located in Kumbakonam on the 12th of December. Akshaya is a relative of Vimal and the parents were not too happy with their love affair and Akshaya’s parents were looking for other allainces for her, which prompted the couple eloping and getting married.
Actor Vimal has been seen in the hit movies Pasanga and Kalavani and is presently acting in Ethan.
