Vellore: A Black Flag demonstration lead by CPI(M) workers, was held in the temple town of Tiruvannamalai in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu when self-styled Godman Nityananda, who was recently caught on video in a sleaze act, visited the Lord Arunachaleeswara temple today.
About 40 CPI(M) activists and a few AIDWA members assembled at the Northern side entrance of the temple and staged a black flag demonstration thinking that the disgraced Godman might enter the temple from there.
However, Nityananda entered the temple through the southern side entrance. After having a darshan of Lord Arunachaleswara and his consort, he left the temple by the same entrance.
When he was proceeding towards his ashram, he spotted a group of farmers association members staging a black flag demonstration near a school.
Sensing trouble, he directed the driver to take a different route and reached his sprawling ashram where a large number of his 'devotees' were present
