Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today said,''I want results. I don't believe in just promises and road-maps".
The 100-day mission for development of GHMC area is to bring in visible changes in all vital sectors like Drinking Water, Power Supply, Road Maintenance, Road Traffic and other infrastructure facilities. We have to work on a mission-mode to achieve this. I am sure we will be able to achieve it'', Mr Reddy told the Ministers and officials at the meeting held at Secretariat to review the special 100-day development plan in the GHMC Area.
In order to bring credibility efforts, the Chief Minister directed the officials to advertise the department-wise action plans well in advance through print and electronic media so that the public would also notice them. Similar development action plans will be taken up in other Municipal Corporations and municipalities also in the State in the near future and the Chief Minister said that he had already directed all the Ministers in this regard.
Reviewing the department-wise action proposals today, the Chief Minister directed the officials to chalk out and implement plans which are only possible in 100 days and that it should be completed in time under any circumstances. He said he will also monitor the works regularly.
