Hyderabad: Noted film director EVV Satyanarayana who was ailing with throat Cancer since last few years was died on Friday night in Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. He was admitted in the hospital for the treatment on 19th of this month. EVV Satyanarayana who is popularly known as EVV has left his mark on film industry of making comedy films with his son Allari Naresh since last several years.

Tollywood has lost a great giant among comedy directors.

He was born on June 10, 1958. in Dommeru, West Godavari district. His full name is Edara Veera Venkata Satyanarayana.

Famous for his comedy films, EVV's first film was Chevilo Puvvu and last film was Kathi Kantha Rao. He turned popular with ‘Prema Khaidi’ and turned as producer with ‘Chala Bagundi’.He was survived by wife and two sons Aryan Rajesh and Allari Naresh.
