Mangalore: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International General Secretary Praveen Bhai Togadia today said Ram Mandir will be built in Ayodhya.
He declared there was no question of building Babri Masjid as it had beyond doubt proved by the Archaeological Department about the birth place of Sri Ram and existence of Ram Mandir which was upheld by the Allahabad High Court.
''Ram Mandir should be built where Lord Ram took birth in Ayodhya.
There should not be any division of land as directed by the court as the entire land was belonged to Hindus. We will not allow for building any Masjid there,'' he reiterated.
On construction of Ram temple, he said it would be built within two years after the final clearance was given.
''In 1989 we had collected Rs eight crores through bricks. We had deposited the money in a nationalised bank. Now the fund has grown to Rs 24 crore. We have kept the pillars and other carvings ready.
Turning his ire at Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi, he quipped, ''If he is so worried about growing Hindu terrorism in the country why doesn't he migrate to his ancestral country Italy ?
