Chennai: South Indian actor and producer Prakash Raj is all set to take up the new role of a filmmaker in the new year.
The project that Prakash Raj has taken up for a 2011 release will be his second outing behind the camera. However, at present, it is acting that keeps Prakash Raj busy. The actor is all set to grab the tag of director too. He will soon direct a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu versions.
Prakash Raj became a popular choice for filmmakers who were looking for a comic negative act in films after his Bollywood outing in the film 'Wanted' remake of Telugu 'Pokiri' with Salman. It is heard that Prakash Raj will be appearing in two Bollywood projects this year.
Prakash Raj opined that right scripts will definitely click at Box-Office irrespective of the star cast. “I love good scripts. And for my directorial venture, which will be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil, I am taking extra care to pen the script,” says the actor turned director.
