Even after a peaceful and quiet exit from the post of chief minister at the behest of the Congress high command, veteran leader K Rosaiah continues to face troubles.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau court on Monday ordered filing of an FIR against Rosaiah and other officials in a case involving de-notification of a prime land in the city.
Admitting a petition by a local advocate, the ACB court directed officials to file an FIR and submit their report to the court by January 28.
The previous Rosaiah government took a decision to de-notify nine-acre plot in the prime locality of Ameerpet, worth Rs 200 crore, to favour businessman Dr GN Naidu and a few others.
The petitioner, Mohanlal, claimed that the prime land was de-notified from the purview of land acquisition proceedings with an intention to benefit private individuals.
