Hyderabad: TRS president KCR called upon the Congress MPs to quit if the Centre does not deliver a Telangana state after the Srikrishna Committee submits its report. “They have done a good job by taking up fast demanding withdrawal of cases against student protestors. Similarly, they should remain committed to their stand that they would resign if the Centre does not deliver Telangana,” he said.
He observed that had the Congress MLAs quit before, the Telangana state would have been a reality by now. “At least now, they should bring pressure on the Centre by resigning. If they do this, they will become heroes for people of Telangana,” he said.
He called for a non-cooperation movement by all the Telangana employees, workers, teachers, academicians and students from February, If the Centre did not concede Telangana. He said all the sections and political parties of the Telangana region would remain united and force the Centre to introduce the Telangana bill in Parliament.
