Hyderabad: Endowments J Krishna Rao and four others were injured when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus hit a car in which they were travelling at Machavaram in Mahabubnagar district late last night.
Police said a state road transport corporation bus hit the minister''s SUV from the opposite direction at Macharam village under Jadcharla mandal while he was on his way to his native Mahbubnagar from Hyderabad.
Mr Rao who suffered injuries under his eye, on head and hand, his car driver, gunman, personal assistant and personal secretary were those who were injured.
They were rushed to SVS hospital at Mahboobnagar in a private vehicle. Afterreceiving first aid, the minister was rushed to Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) for further treatment. His condition stable.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy called on the minister at the hospital.
